VIRTUAL TOUR OF OUR CHURCH AERIAL VIEW OF OUR CHURCH LATEST NEWS PARISH EVENTS

Welcome to St Patrick’s new website !

.

You cross the digital threshold of a parish that covers east part of Wolverhampton. The beauty of our Church speaks and radiates the presence of Christ to this part of our city. All that we're trying to do here as a parish community is about living the Gospel of Christ and proclaiming his Good News to those who come here and all whom we encounter through the ordinary lives we lead.

I hope that this website will allow you to enter into the life of our community – although digitally and virtually – so as to connect you with the people who use this place regularly and find their sense of peace here, too. So, it's not just about offering information; it's about keeping people in touch with the parish community and with one another.

May the God who seeks to come into our lives watch over each and every one of us, and remind us – always – that he is near.

PARISH MISSION STATEMENT:

.

We the people of St Patrick's Church

imitate the words of our patron Saint

by honouring and praising God in the Trinity

before every nation under heaven

in this place.

St. Patrick’s is a Catholic parish to the east of Wolverhampton. It covers the areas of Heath Town, Springfield, Park Village, Heath Park, Hickman, Wednesfield Village, part of Wood End and Lyndale Park. It is a truly multicultural Parish blessed with people of many nationalities. We are particularly fortunate to have a sizeable Irish, Kerala and Filipino communities whose prayer and devotion are an inspiration to us all.

We work closely with our brothers and sisters in the Wolverhampton Deanery, particularly with St Mary & John’s and with other Parishes of North East Wolverhampton, namely Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Corpus Christi and Saint Joseph.

Please have a look around this new website to find out more about our Parish Community. If you have any comments or questions, or you would like to get more involved within the Parish, please feel free to get in touch with Fr Dawid using the contact details.

St Patrick's Prayer
for our Parishioners and Visitors:

.

May the strength of God guide us.

May the power of God preserve us.
May the wisdom of God instruct us.

May the hand of God protect us.
May the way of God direct us.

May the shield of God defend us.
May the angels of God guard us,

against the snares of the evil one.
May Christ be with us!

May Christ be before us!
May Christ be in us; Christ be over all!
May thy Grace, Lord, always be ours,

this day, O Lord, and for evermore.

Amen.
